RoadTrips is an independent visual and editorial archive of highways, pre-dawn departures, wrong turns, roadside chai stalls, and landscapes that rarely fit inside travel brochures.
I remember places by the roads that took me there.
RoadTrips began with a simple habit: taking the longer road. What started as photographs from weekend escapes gradually evolved into a disciplined record of roads, weather, and encounters across Gujarat and the subcontinent.
Modern travel often prioritizes arriving quickly. We board an aircraft or set GPS to the fastest tollway, treating the distance between departure and destination as an inconvenience to be endured.
RoadTrips was founded on the opposite premise: that the road itself holds the real narrative. The changing soil color, the shifting regional accents at dhabas every two hundred kilometers, the sudden drop in temperature climbing a ghat, and the quiet satisfaction of reaching a horizon on four wheels.

A good road trip leaves generous room for unplanned stops. If a dirt track looks interesting or an old bridge catches the light, you pull over. The schedule is always secondary to curiosity.
Document Honestly
Photographs and notes should capture what a place truly felt like—dust, harsh midday glare, flat tires, and all. No exaggerated marketing claims or staged glamour.
